Methods Introduction
Many of us teach the way we were taught when we were students. This may (or may not) sound fine to you but in reality, it limits your ability as an instructor to focus on student learning. Consider the following questions: How can I best teach the students in my classes? How can I create a classroom environment that is welcoming, challenging, and conducive to learning? How do I approach controversial subjects? What do I do with student writing? How can I best use technology? In this section, you will find resources on a variety of topics related to methods of instruction.
