Curriculum Creation- Final Assignment
This multi-activity assignment is best used as a culminating exercise. It asks students to rethink and repackage the information they’ve acquired throughout the term. Through planning a curriculum, students make their own connections between topic areas and a coherent narrative of their particular topic. Students make a lesson plan, an activity worksheet and a reflection exercise discussing the choices they’ve made. Though in this case it’s used for a visual literacy course, it’s easily applicable to other disciplines. Thanks to Robert Voelker-Morris for this assignment.
