From the Veterans: Advice and Issues to Consider
TEP queried GTFs about their first teaching experiences. The advice we received from these veteran GTFs raised some important issues that we'd like to share with you.
These are the questions GTFs were asked.
- Do you remember the anxiety you felt when you first came to campus as a new GTF? This fall, the Teaching Effectiveness Program will be doing its best to train incoming GTFs who will be in that same anxious state. A few words of advice from you right now would be invaluable to us.
- What do you wish you had been told when you first arrived?
