Lack of Guidance
- When I started my GTF, I was given absolutely no direction at all. Feeling as if this were my fault (i.e., not smart enough, perceptive enough, blond hair), I said nothing to my supervisor. She e-mailed me in the middle of the summer and asked if I could put together a course packet for the following fall's class. I struggled with this, but still didn't ask for help. So instructional GTFs could use some training on developing course packets/curricula and delivering a course
