Setting Priorities

• Remember, you are first and foremost a student here (just to get your priorities clear!)
  
  
• I think teacher training should be mandatory for all incoming GTFs.
  
  
• Do not take too much on to overcompensate for being rookie.
  
  
• Become more computer literate, i.e. web page designing, user lists etc.. as more and more professors seek such "extra" skills in their GTF's.
  
  
• Focus on your studies and GTF obligations and stay away from extra curricular activities such as campaigns, organizations, as you need to establish yourself for future GTF and research project considerations.
