- I just recently found a book called something like "Practical Techniques"
on language teaching that I wish I had come across right from the beginning.
Recommend it to your language teaching GTFs.
- Take the initiative to find out who in their department is the best source of information about the bureaucracy of teaching: getting class lists, how many office hours am I required to keep, where do I get AV equipment, etc.. Ask current GTFs from various departments from whom they have been successful getting this information.
