Goals

Our goals for the teaching community are that instructors will:

  1. Feel supported by TEP at every stage of their teaching career (from graduate students to tenured professors).

  2. Improve student learning and success by applying the experiences and information from TEP programs in their course design, classroom teaching and assessment practices.

  3. Identify skills, abilities, and habits of mind that are necessary for students to develop to be successful scholars in their discipline.

  4. Recognize the diversity of learners in the classroom and feel compelled and empowered to create an inclusive classroom that engages all learning styles.

  5. Explore different potential technologies in support of useful and productive student learning experiences.
