Adding a Link to the Navigation Bar

Adding a link to the side navigation will increase the ease with which students can access the survey. This process will create a new content area in your coursesite.

    1. From inside your Blackboard coursesite, click on the Edit Mode button so that it is in the ON setting.
    2. Locate the green plus (+) button in the upper left corner of the menu bar to get a drop-down window with the options to add course areas and menu options.
    3. Select Create Content Area.
    4. Name the content area Midterm Assessment of Teaching, and then check off the box to make it Available to Users.
    5. Click the Submit button.
    6. You can then move the newly created content area on your menu bar by clicking on the double arrows next to the content area name and dragging it to the desired position.

Now that you've created a content area for the survey, you're ready to deploy it.
