Enhancing In-Class Discussion Using Blackboard
Do you find yourself struggling to get students to talk in your class? When
they do, are their contributions not what you’d hoped for? Do you wish
you had more time for a more in-depth discussion or to deal with the questions
and answers?
Blackboard offers several features that can be used to enhance and expand upon
in-class discussion. This workshop will introduce you to these features, discuss
strategies for their successful implementation and expose participants to potential
pitfalls when incorporating these technologies into a face-to-face course. Space
is limited to 12.
Thursday, November 20, 2:00 - 3:20, Reed Seminar Room
