Large Class Teaching
This training will address major issues large class teachers face as well as provide resources for effective teaching strategies and techniques in large class teaching including:
- Strategies for promoting interaction with large classes
- Learner-centered teaching
- Honing presentation skills
- Promoting deep learning in the large lecture course
- Developing classroom assessment techniques
- Using personal response systems in large class teaching
TEP will offer two sessions of this training for interested instructors. One will be held on Friday, September 26, 2003 from 9am to 4pm in room 360 Condon. The second training will be held in the new classroom in Media Services - LIB 41 on October 10. Please register with Georgeanne Cooper.
