Get Savvy 2003: A Week Focused on Student Success

Get Savvy 2003 will offer workshops for students and instructors focused on strategies and resources in crucial areas of academic life.

Instructor workshops will help instructors incorporate online learning into their classes, use classroom assessment techniques, more successfully handle the workloads in large introductory courses, and create more learner-centered classrooms. Additional teacher workshops will offer tips for writing successful grants and advice on how to overcome writer's block and procrastination.

Workshops are free to all UO instructors-faculty, staff and GTFs. Attendees will be eligible for drawings in each workshop.

Get Savvy will take place 11 am to 4 pm, October 14, 15 and 16. For more information on Get Savvy, contact Georgeanne Cooper.
