Several UO faculty have been using clickers (http://atc.cit.cornell.edu/course/polling/index.cfm) to assess student learning during class. We have invited them to share their experiences with this form of instructional technology. We invite all those who are interested to join this conversation. Why did they decide to use clickers? What’s the learning curve on the software? How do they use them in class? How did their students respond? What difference has it made in the teaching and learning in their classes? We have also invited Stan Hall from Media Services and JQ Johnson from the Knight Library to answer questions specific to the technology.
