Web 2.0 has become an important component of instructional technology. Wikis, blogs, podcasts, rss feeds, and shared documents have all made their way into classrooms. As these applications are utilized more often, important questions arise. What is the instructor’s role in introducing these applications into the classroom? What university and outside support exists for these applications? What are the considerations and challenges for integrating the technology with student learning? These and other questions will be addressed in this open forum facilitated by Helen Chu, Director of Academic Technology; Andrew Bonamici, Associate University Librarian, Instructional Services; and JQ Johnson, Director Center for Educational Technologies.
