Making the Most of Midterm Feedback

How can faculty and graduate student instructors make the most of students’ midterm feedback to enhance students’ awareness of their own learning strategies; convey that student voices matter (even if you’re unable to make course modifications they suggest); reinforce the goals of the course; and help students finish strong?

Come with your own results in hand to think strategically about how to interpret those results, talk about them with your students, and make adjustments that may enhance student learning and contribute to a more rewarding teaching experience.
