Each year, TEP hosts featured events and workshops on topics of particular or timely interest to UO teachers. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you might want to help lead a workshop or teaching-related event for the campus.
The e-newsletter TEPlist spotlights upcoming workshops and campus conversations about teaching, lists teaching awards deadlines, directs readers to notable scholarly and news articles and external resources, and includes original features about the UO teaching and learning culture. We publish several times a term—never more frequently than once a week.
TEP is available to work individually with instructors looking to experiment with and improve their teaching. This work often involves a private consultation, classroom observation, and advice about how to make the most of TEP’s resources and larger-format workshops and events.
TEP works with units on issues that are of particular importance in their distinctive teaching context.
Graduate student instructors are vital to UO’s teaching culture. TEP supports graduate students in their teaching roles in a variety of ways.
